Perhaps the most overlooked skill of the German Shepherd Dog is in the name! The GSD has been used for such a variety of tasks, that he is rarely thought of first as a herding breed!

Why  breed German Shepherds:

First and formost - our main goal is the PRESERVATION of the WORKING German Shepherd!  We believe the standard mentioned on our home page is what a "true" german shepherd should be. The German Shepherd is a working dog - and is a loyal friend and protector to to all family members, adults and children - human and canine. Their noble demeanor, beauty, intelligence, and versitility is beyond any other breed. German Shepherds are used for military, agility, police dogs, therapy dogs, search & rescue, security guards, herding and working on the farm, and perhaps best of all - they make excellent loyal companions. They are happiest when they have a job to do. They do extremely well in sports like obedience, herding competition, agility and schutzhund. We love the German Shepherd Breed so much - that we decided to start breeding them to improve the progeny. Health, temperament, conformation and vigor our top priorities!

Sires X Dams are carefully selected to bring out the very best of the German Shepherd Standard.

ARE YOU SOMEONE WHO LIKES TO GO FOR WALKS WITH YOUR DOG AND PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANT - TRAIN YOUR DOG OR GET YOUR DOG TRAINED? DO YOU MIND GROOMING OR AT LEAST BRUSHING YOUR DOG OFTEN? THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN PURCHASING A GERMAN SHEPHERD!

Here are some more things that all dogs can teach us if we pay attention : )

1. Always be happy to see your friends and loved ones.

2. Attitude is everything, so approach each day and each new experience with enthusiasm.

3. Never underestimate the power of praise.

4. Play every chance you get.

5. Don't be afraid to show your joy! When you are happy - show it. Wiggle and wag.

6. Enjoy a nice nap, and always stretch and yawn before you get up.

7. Never turn down a chance to be with someone you love.

8. Be loyal.

9. Lounge under a shady tree on a hot day.

10. Every once in a while, put your head out the window and enjoy the feel of the wind on your face and hair.
